Front End Developer 
On behalf of our public sector client we are seeking a Front End Developer to focus on designing and coding interactive, functional and responsive UI’s,
ensuring accessibility as per the organizations’ standards.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• University undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science or Engineering or five (5) years of progressive experience in IT. 
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience developing software solutions using JavaScript / TypeScript.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with business users to translate business requirements into technical requirements and collaborate with stakeholders in delivery of iterative software solutions.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience designing and implementing of multi-tier applications composed of web services based on Spring frameworks.   
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with version control tools like GIT, CI tools like Gitlab, automation tools like Ansible, and builds tools like Gradle/Maven. 
• A minimum of three (3) years’ developing front-end web applications, including proficiency in HTML and CSS and a least one modern JavaScript frameworks: React, AngularJS, Vue.JS or NodeJS.   
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with enterprise database management systems like Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or DB2  
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in design and implementation of microservices.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and Rancher.
Contract Duration:  1 year, with options to renew
Work location:  Ottawa hybrid
Security Requirement:  Secret with eligibility for Top Secret

This posting is for a public sector assignment. Compensation will be determined through the competitive bidding process and will be within the approved rate structure for this assignment.
