Full Stack Developer:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Full Stack Developer for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office or Montreal, office.

Full Stack Developer - Job Description:
You will be responsible for building and maintaining mission-critical financial applications across the full stack. This includes greenfield modernization of legacy systems and active feature development on existing platforms.

Full Stack Developer - Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Angular UIs, Java REST APIs, relational databases, and Python data pipelines
• Engage in greenfield modernization and feature development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across systems
• Implement spec-driven development processes and AI-assisted implementation
• Conduct code reviews and enforce code quality gates

Full Stack Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years with Angular (v14+) components, services, routing, lazy loading
• 3+ years with Java (11+; 17 or 21 LTS preferred) and REST API development
• Python 3.10+ for scripting, data transformation, and API development
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle (PL/SQL) and/or SQL Server (T-SQL)
• Working knowledge of AWS core services (S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, IAM, Glue)
• Proficiency with Git, unit and integration tests, Docker, and containerized environments

Full Stack Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with FastAPI, RAG pipelines, Haystack AI, Azure OpenAI, ChromaDB
• Familiarity with Spring Data JPA, MapStruct, Lombok, Actuator, HikariCP
• Advanced Angular skills (Signals, Standalone APIs, Material 3 or 15)
• Knowledge of Playwright E2E, TestNG, data-driven test frameworks
• Understanding of JWT, OIDC, OAuth 2.0

This is a 6 month contract position.

Toronto, Ontario or Montreal, QC, Canada. This is a hybrid role with 2 days in the office.
