Full Stack Developer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Full Stack Developer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Full Stack Developer - Job Description:
The Full Stack Developer will work on enhancing our client's web application by developing new features and optimizing existing functionalities. The role involves both backend and frontend development, focusing on improving system performance and scalability.

Full Stack Developer - Responsibilities:
• Review pull requests to ensure code quality and security best practices
• Write Node.js code and develop REST API services
• Create test automation using Postman and Playwright
• Optimize MSSQL queries
• Leverage generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Windsurf to enhance development efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance
• Address security vulnerabilities and provide product support

Full Stack Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in Node.js development, including REST API services
• Solid knowledge and 1+ year of experience with test automation frameworks, including Postman and Playwright
• Proficiency with generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf
• Solid knowledge of MSSQL and database optimization
• Proven ability to address security vulnerabilities and implement secure coding techniques

Full Stack Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Experience with Vue.js and Vuetify frameworks
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of batch processing and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint

This is a 6-month contract position.
