GIS Test Lead:
On behalf of our Utilities client, Procom is searching for a GIS Test Lead for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

GIS Test Lead - Job Description:
The GIS Test Lead will be responsible for leading business and technical testing teams on the GIS project, which involves a technical upgrade on the platform. This hands-on role requires providing leadership, guidance, and technical expertise in testing.

GIS Test Lead - Responsibilities:
• Define, review, and evaluate testing approaches and strategies across multiple projects
• Build team alignment among staff, contractors, and vendors
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide coaching on testing activities
• Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional teams
• Review test coverage and propose solutions to increase test effectiveness
• Manage testing streams on complex projects

GIS Test Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 10 years of hands-on testing experience and 5 years in a lead or managerial role
• Extensive experience creating test cases, plans, strategies, tracking, and reporting
• Proven ability to report test status and defect tracking accurately
• Experience testing complex solutions like GIS or similar technology
• Experience with test automation tools
• Knowledge of tools such as HP ALM and Grip

GIS Test Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with ESRI products
• Experience working with GIS platforms and related tools
• Experience working with other Utilities
• Familiarity with emerging test design/strategies/practices

GIS Test Lead – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

GIS Test Lead - Start Date:
ASAP.

GIS Test Lead - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence at least 2 days per week.
