GIS Test Lead:
On behalf of our Utilities client, Procom is searching for a GIS Test Lead for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

GIS Test Lead - Job Description:
This role involves leading a critical GIS platform upgrade project. The Test Lead will provide leadership, guidance, and technical expertise in testing, focusing on a technical upgrade of the platform.

GIS Test Lead - Responsibilities:
• Lead business and technical testing teams on the GIS project
• Define, review, and evaluate testing approach and strategy
• Build team alignment among staff, contractors, and vendor personnel
• Demonstrate business acumen by translating technical options into business objectives
• Work on multiple projects as required by the GIS project demands

GIS Test Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience in hands-on testing
• 5 years of experience in a technical lead, QA lead, or QA manager position
• 5 years of recent experience with GIS Platform and related tools (ESRI products preferred)
• Extensive experience creating test cases, plans, strategies, tracking, and reporting
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business teams

GIS Test Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with test automation tools
• Experience leading diverse teams
• Previous experience with Hydro One or similar utilities companies
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills

GIS Test Lead – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

GIS Test Lead - Start Date:
ASAP.

GIS Test Lead - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence 2-5 times per week.
