Governance and Controls Analyst - Controls Testing x 2:
On behalf of our Risk Management client, Procom is searching for a Governance and Controls Analyst - Controls Testing x 2 for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Governance and Controls Analyst - Controls Testing x 2 - Job Description:
The role involves performing control testing based on the designed Risk Management FY27 control testing plan. The Governance and Controls Analyst will manage and execute the control testing plan, focusing on regulatory controls, and document test results in eGRC.

Governance and Controls Analyst - Controls Testing x 2 - Responsibilities:
• Manage portfolio of controls in Risk Management
• Execute regular testing of the design and operating effectiveness of key controls
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project team members
• Identify efficiency opportunities and propose creative solutions
• Provide structure around scheduling and organizing work

Governance and Controls Analyst - Controls Testing x 2 - Mandatory Skills:
• 3-5 years of hands-on control testing experience
• Internal audit and/or external audit experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage stakeholder interactions effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

Governance and Controls Analyst - Controls Testing x 2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Background in risk management and regulatory compliance
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent
• Accounting firm experience (internal/external audit) may be an asset
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Governance and Controls Analyst - Controls Testing x 2 – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position ending on October 31, 2027, with potential for extension or conversion to FTE based on business needs and performance.
