Graphic Designer / Creative Writer:
On behalf of our Regulated Utility client, Procom is searching for a Graphic Designer / Creative Writer for a full-time 6 month plus hybrid contract role with 4 days onsite at our client’s Minneapolis, Minnesota office.

Graphic Designer / Creative Writer - Job Description:
The Graphic Designer / Creative Writer is a hybrid creative role responsible for developing compelling written content and high-quality visual communications that support customer, community, employee, and stakeholder engagement for a regulated utility. This position translates complex utility, regulatory, operational, and customer information into clear, accurate, accessible, and brand-aligned materials across print, digital, social, presentation, and campaign channels.

Graphic Designer / Creative Writer - Responsibilities:
• Write, edit, and proofread marketing and communications content for various channels.
• Design creative assets for print and digital channels.
• Translate technical and regulatory information into clear communications.
• Maintain consistency with brand standards and approved messaging.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop creative concepts.
• Support integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
• Develop visual storytelling tools.
• Review creative work for accuracy and brand consistency.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines.
• Maintain organized creative files and assets.
• Stay current on design trends and communication best practices.

Graphic Designer / Creative Writer - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience creating both written content and visual designs.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and visual communication skills.
• Ability to simplify complex information accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Graphic Designer / Creative Writer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in a regulated industry or utility environment.
• Experience developing customer-facing communications.
• Experience creating executive presentations and campaign toolkits.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and AP Style.
• Basic photography, video editing, or web content experience.

This is a permanent position.
