GRC Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a GRC Analyst for a short term contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

GRC Analyst - Job Description:
The GRC Analyst will support Project Tempo, an initiative aimed at enhancing regulatory governance. The role involves evaluating the design and effectiveness of regulatory controls, coordinating with external auditors, and ensuring quality assurance in control testing.

GRC Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Act as a Control Advisor supporting various Risk Lines of Business in identifying and enhancing controls related to regulatory compliance risks.
• Conduct control testing and internal audits to assess risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align control activities with risk objectives.
• Develop documentation of control processes and audit findings.
• Provide recommendations for control enhancements based on audit results.
• Support the implementation of control frameworks and risk policies.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on controls.

GRC Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience in control advisory or testing in Risk Management and Audit for at least 3 years.
• Hands-on experience in internal audit and control testing.
• Strong background in risk management, including identification and mitigation strategies.
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks.

GRC Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent.
• Collaborative mindset and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organization skills.

GRC Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position until October 31st, 2026, with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

GRC Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid work arrangement with 2 days in the office per week.
