On behalf of our Capital Markets client, Procom is searching for a Head of Digital Marketing, CMS Migration Lead for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s New York office.

Head of Digital Marketing, CMS Migration Lead - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced digital marketing leader to serve as Interim Head of Digital Marketing, providing temporary coverage during our current Head of Digital Marketing’s maternity leave. This high-impact role combines strategic leadership with hands-on project management, focused on keeping our digital marketing programs running smoothly while driving a critical CMS migration initiative forward.

Head of Digital Marketing, CMS Migration Lead - Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level oversight of the digital marketing team across all functional areas: paid media, website management, Marketo email strategy, and corporate/executive social media
• Support the team with approvals, stakeholder management, and navigating organizational challenges
• Serve as the senior point of contact for digital marketing during the absence period, representing the team in cross-functional meetings and leadership discussions
• Balance strategic oversight with operational support — staying close enough to the work to guide it effectively without becoming an execution bottleneck
• Foster a collaborative relationship with the Digital team, bridging gaps in alignment and process between Marketing and Digital
• Serve as the primary driver of the CMS migration from a marketing perspective, building structure and momentum around an initiative that has stalled at the vendor evaluation stage
• Lead the platform evaluation and selection process, assessing options including Adobe AEM, WordPress, dotCMS, Contentful, Storyblok, and Contentstack against business requirements, team capabilities, and long-term sustainability

Head of Digital Marketing, CMS Migration Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
• Demonstrated experience leading a CMS migration or major website platform transition from evaluation through execution
• Strong understanding of both traditional and headless CMS platforms
• Experience leading content audits, site remediation, and content governance initiatives
• Proven track record of providing strategic oversight across multiple digital marketing channels
• Experience working with Marketo or comparable enterprise email marketing platforms
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Head of Digital Marketing, CMS Migration Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with headless CMS architecture
• Familiarity with digital marketing in a B2B or corporate communications context
• Change management experience
• Experience stepping into interim or contract leadership roles and ramping quickly
