On behalf of our consulting client, Procom is searching for an Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering for a contract role. 

Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering - Job Description:
This project involves the design, implementation, and management of Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks with a focus on architecture and engineering. The role requires enhancing security and operational efficiency through innovative IAM solutions and leading a team of engineers.

Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering - Responsibilities:
• Design and manage access certification and compliance processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards like SOX and OSFI.
• Develop automated lifecycle management processes for timely provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Implement role-based access control models and entitlement governance.
• Design and implement Single Sign-On solutions and manage authentication frameworks.
• Engineer and integrate IAM platforms for scalable and secure identity services.
• Utilize scripting languages for automation and optimization of IAM processes.
• Lead and mentor IAM engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders on access control policies.
• Conduct access reviews and integrate IAM solutions with security controls.

Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering - Mandatory Skills:
• Extensive experience in IAM roles with a focus on architecture and engineering.
• Proven expertise with IAM tools/platforms like Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Okta, SailPoint, IBM Verify.
• Strong understanding of IAM frameworks and security principles.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, or Azure fundamentals.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Solid understanding of enterprise software architecture and infrastructure security.
• Ability to create detailed documentation and user manuals.
• Experience with API-based services for automation.

Identity and Access Manager - Architecture and Engineering – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position to start.

ASAP.

Remote position but preference is for someone in GTA or KW
