Information Security Consultant:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Information Security Consultant for a 6 month role. This position is a remote position based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. 

Information Security Consultant - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to support the organization’s information security posture and risk management efforts. The role involves managing high-volume ticket-based work, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to project deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Information Security Consultant - Responsibilities:
• Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business units on information security matters
• Provide consulting services aligned with organizational security standards and goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, risks, and opportunities
• Support the development and execution of information security strategies
• Analyze data and provide insights, recommendations, and solutions to business challenges
• Manage ticket-based workloads while delivering on project requirements
• Track metrics, milestones, and issues; escalate risks as needed

Information Security Consultant - Mandatory Skills:
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in information security or related field
• Strong understanding of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002, PCI DSS)
• Experience with information security concepts, methodologies, and controls
• Knowledge of project delivery and business analysis practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle non-routine situations

Information Security Consultant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Industry certifications (e.g., (ISC)², ISACA, SANS)
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Familiarity with vendor management and third-party security solutions
• Exposure to financial services or regulated environments

Information Security Consultant – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.

Information Security Consultant - Start Date:
ASAP.

Information Security Consultant - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is 100% remote.
