Infrastructure Architecture Lead:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Infrastructure Architecture Lead for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Infrastructure Architecture Lead - Job Description:
This role involves leading the infrastructure architecture outcomes for a transformation project focusing on cloud, networking, and infrastructure modernization. The Infrastructure Architecture Lead will work closely with the project manager to ensure technical deliverables, cross-workstream dependencies, and operational readiness activities are coordinated effectively.

Infrastructure Architecture Lead - Responsibilities:
• Lead current-state discovery, architecture assessments, and target-state infrastructure design.
• Define infrastructure requirements, solution options, and recommendations aligned with business priorities and enterprise standards.
• Provide architectural leadership across networking, compute, storage, backup, cloud, workplace technology, and telephony.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, solution documentation, decision records, and transition roadmaps.
• Lead technical design discussions and prepare architecture submissions for applicable governance reviews.
• Coordinate technical workshops and follow-ups across engineering, operations, vendors, and other delivery workstreams.
• Identify technical risks, assumptions, design gaps, and delivery blockers; drive resolution with accountable owners.

Infrastructure Architecture Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, compute, virtualization, storage, backup and recovery, hybrid cloud, Microsoft 365, and workplace technologies.
• Proven ability to drive complex, large-scale infrastructure initiatives from discovery through implementation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Infrastructure Architecture Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous experience working within large enterprise environments.

Infrastructure Architecture Lead – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 3-5 days in the office per week.
