Infrastructure Automation Architect:
On behalf of our Utilities client, Procom is searching for an Infrastructure Automation Architect for a contract position. 

Infrastructure Automation Architect - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Automation Architect to lead the design, standardization, and automation of enterprise infrastructure services across on-premises and cloud environments. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to a team of infrastructure engineers and establish scalable frameworks for software deployment, patch management, configuration management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and compliance reporting across Windows and Linux platforms.

Infrastructure Automation Architect - Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of infrastructure and automation specialists.
• Design and implement a standardized enterprise deployment framework across Windows and Linux environments.
• Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines that support build, test, deployment, validation, and rollback activities.
• Establish governance models for patch management, compliance reporting, and change management integration.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives using modern automation and source control practices.
• Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, project stakeholders, and technical teams.

Infrastructure Automation Architect - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Up to 10 years of progressive experience in systems engineering, infrastructure architecture, and enterprise automation.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux server administration, cloud platforms, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical and strategic recommendations to executive and technical leadership audiences.

Infrastructure Automation Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Master's degree in a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, Ansible, and related deployment technologies.
• Experience with compliance and audit reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Infrastructure Automation Architect – Assignment Length:
This is an 11-month contract

Infrastructure Automation Architect - Start Date:
ASAP.

Infrastructure Automation Architect - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office.
