Instructional Designer

On behalf of our client, we are looking for bilingual (French-English) Instructional Designers to join the Global Training Services (GTS) team.

In this role, you will design high-impact, scalable learning experiences that drive adoption of the Dayforce platform across a large and complex public sector environment. You will partner closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate business needs into meaningful, learner-centered solutions that support thousands of users.

You will create a wide range of learning solutions including eLearning, instructor-led materials, job aids, simulations, and blended programs, ensuring content is clear, engaging, and aligned to business objectives.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment with frequent product updates, requiring you to continuously learn and evolve content to reflect new functionality. You will also leverage modern learning technologies, including Articulate RISE, to design engaging digital learning experiences.

Responsibilities

· Design and develop learner-centered training solutions that drive understanding and adoption of the Dayforce platform

· Develop a variety of learning assets including eLearning, instructor-led materials, guides, job aids, and simulations

· Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to define learning objectives and instructional strategies

· Translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences in both French and English

· Create customized learning solutions using client-specific data and business processes

· Stay current with Dayforce product updates and continuously evolve learning content

· Apply tools such as Articulate RISE and other modern platforms to build scalable digital learning

· Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve learning solutions

· Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Collaborate cross-functionally to drive customer success and alignment

 

Educational, Skill, and Experience Requirements

· Oral and written fluency in French and English is required

· 5–7 years of experience in instructional design, adult learning, or a related field

· Experience designing learning solutions for enterprise or technical platforms is preferred

· Strong experience designing eLearning and digital learning experiences

· Hands-on experience with modern learning tools and platforms, specifically Articulate RISE

· Ability to translate complex business and technical concepts into effective learning solutions

· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

· Experience managing multiple projects with strong time and organizational skills

· Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Teams and learning management systems

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.

· Must be eligible to work on Government of Canada projects.

· Must be eligible to obtain or currently hold Canadian Protected B security clearance.

· Must meet applicable Canadian residency and citizenship requirements for Government of Canada security clearance.

Preferred

· Previous experience developing HCM product training.

· Experience supporting Government of Canada or public sector customers.

· Experience creating training in complex enterprise or technical platform environments.

· Experience creating or editing digital learning content.

· Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.

· Web Services development, XSLT, XML, or SQL experience is an asset.

 

Working Environment and Physical Demands

· Remote work environment.

· Some travel (up to 30%) may be required based on customer demand.

· Virtual training delivery is expected; onsite training delivery may be required at time.

· Work involve supporting training across all Canadian time zones.
