Intermediate - Full stack Java Developer - (Java, Angular, Openshift):
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for an Intermediate - Full stack Java Developer - (Java, Angular, Openshift) for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office. 

Intermediate - Full stack Java Developer - (Java, Angular, Openshift) - Job Description:
The role involves working on new development projects in the Spread Products space, specifically focusing on Financing and Securitization. The developer will engage in building and deploying production-grade solutions, collaborating closely with client trading, risk, and operations teams.

Intermediate - Full stack Java Developer - (Java, Angular, Openshift) - Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary technical point of contact with client teams to gather requirements and scope solutions.
• Rapidly prototype and deliver production-ready applications using Java or Python.
• Balance tradeoffs between scope, speed, and quality to meet client timelines.
• Architect and build scalable, resilient full-stack applications using Java and Angular.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton and Jenkins.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads on OpenShift/Kubernetes.

Intermediate - Full stack Java Developer - (Java, Angular, Openshift) - Mandatory Skills:
• Expert-level proficiency in Java (Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture).
• Hands-on experience with Tekton/OpenShift Pipelines and Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Strong database expertise across Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps practices, including containerization and cloud deployment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Intermediate - Full stack Java Developer - (Java, Angular, Openshift) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Domain knowledge of Fintech, Capital Markets, or Spread Products.
• Experience using Python for quantitative analytics or ML-driven risk tooling.
• Monitoring/Observability tools experience (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/Splunk).

This is a 6 month contract position.
