Intermediate Interaction/Visual Digital Designer – Mobile/Web Apps:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Intermediate Interaction/Visual Digital Designer – Mobile/Web Apps for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Intermediate Interaction/Visual Digital Designer – Mobile/Web Apps - Job Description:
The designer will shape the client acquisition experience on the bank’s Consumer Banking Mega Journey. Working with a cross-functional team and stakeholders, they will define both how the experience works and how it looks and feels to meet business objectives.

Intermediate Interaction/Visual Digital Designer – Mobile/Web Apps - Responsibilities:
• Work with a cross-functional team to design interaction flows and visual layouts for mobile and web applications
• Own the interaction logic and visual quality of the work
• Collaborate daily with product managers, project managers, business analysts, developers, and QA
• Produce solutions at the right fidelity for each audience
• Contribute to and maintain complex design systems

Intermediate Interaction/Visual Digital Designer – Mobile/Web Apps - Mandatory Skills:
• BA/BS degree in Design, HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Portfolio that includes application design samples
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing usable interfaces across multiple channels and platforms
• Advanced digital product design for responsive web and native apps
• Strong visual craft: typography, visual hierarchy, layout, and concepting
• Advanced Figma experience
• Experience with Lean UX within Agile dev teams

Intermediate Interaction/Visual Digital Designer – Mobile/Web Apps – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with usability research and testing
• Knowledge of accessible design principles
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Experience contributing to complex design systems

Intermediate Interaction/Visual Digital Designer – Mobile/Web Apps – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
