Intermediate Thermal Mechanical Engineer:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for an Intermediate Thermal Mechanical Engineer for a permanent role. 

Intermediate Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Job Description:
As an Intermediate Thermal Mechanical Engineer, you will focus on designing, developing, and validating liquid cooling solutions for high-performance electronics. This role involves working on new product development to advance innovative cooling technologies that support AI and sustainable data center technologies.

Intermediate Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Design and develop thermal-mechanical products and components, such as passive cold plates and coolant distribution manifolds.
• Lead product development activities from concept through production, including design studies and prototype development.
• Create and maintain detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and related documentation.
• Use thermal, fluid flow, and structural analyses to validate designs and optimize product performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with testing, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer-facing teams.
• Solve engineering problems using first-principles thinking across heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical design.
• Contribute to design reviews and provide technical recommendations to resolve design challenges.

Intermediate Thermal Mechanical Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4-7 years of relevant technical experience.
• Good understanding of thermal fundamentals, including heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
• Proven experience designing mechanical components for mass production.
• Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools, such as SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of core mechanical engineering principles like GD&T and DFM.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work methodically toward solutions.

Intermediate Thermal Mechanical Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in thermal-mechanical product development in precision-engineered environments.
• Knowledge of cooling system design.
• Experience with liquid cooling or data center hardware.
• Experience designing products for high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or equivalent professional accreditation.

Intermediate Thermal Mechanical Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a permanent position.
