Internal Audit Analyst:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for an Internal Audit Analyst for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Markham, Ontario office.

Internal Audit Analyst - Job Description:
As an Internal Audit Analyst, you will be instrumental in conducting risk-based audits to enhance the organization's control environment and support effective governance. You will plan, execute, and report on audits, ensuring compliance with IIA Standards and internal methodologies.

Internal Audit Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Take an active role in planning, executing, and reporting internal audits.
• Support risk assessments and evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Conduct audit and SOX tests independently, focusing on control design and operating effectiveness.
• Gather evidence through interviews, documentation review, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with the Manager, Internal Audit, and process owners to develop effective solutions.
• Ensure timely remediation of deficiencies and prepare audit and SOX deficiency reports.
• Leverage data analytics tools to expand audit coverage and generate insights.
• Contribute to drafting audit reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and improve operational efficiency.

Internal Audit Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of internal audit, external audit, or relevant risk/control/compliance experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly adaptable and team-oriented.
• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Internal Audit Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with audit analytics tools such as Power BI.
• Experience with audit management systems like TeamMate.
• Experience preparing professional deliverables for senior audiences.

Internal Audit Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a permanent position.
