Internal Audit x 2:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Internal Audit x 2 for a 5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Internal Audit x 2 - Job Description:
This project involves executing audits for assigned business functions or projects within the bank, providing strategic guidance and independent oversight. The role is focused on ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and enhancing operational performance through diligent audit practices.

Internal Audit x 2 - Responsibilities:
• Provide expertise in planning and executing end-to-end audits based on established audit plans
• Lead the planning process for assigned audits, ensuring completion of appropriate programs and risk assessments
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and audit management
• Manage follow-ups on findings from regulatory and internal divisional audits
• Review and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiencies
• Stay informed about emerging trends and developments related to business and analytical tools
• Build a positive work environment for team collaboration and knowledge exchange

Internal Audit x 2 - Mandatory Skills:
• Over 5 years of audit experience with an undergraduate degree
• Relevant professional certifications, such as CPA or CIA
• Hands-on knowledge of MS Office and Internet applications
• Ability to work cross-functionally and provide guidance to team members
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience in capital markets preferred
• Attention to detail

Internal Audit x 2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• FRM or CFA designations
• Experience within a bank audit team
• Knowledge of capital markets
• Problem-solving skills
• Teamwork and collaboration skills

Internal Audit x 2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 5-month contract position.
