Job Description

Inventory & Internal Control Associate:
On behalf of our Automotive client, Procom is searching for an Inventory & Internal Control Associate for a 14-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Paris, Ontario office.

Inventory & Internal Control Associate - Job Description:
The Inventory & Internal Control Associate will ensure the integrity of inventory accounting, financial controls, and reporting processes while maintaining operational compliance. The role involves leading a small team, managing inventory, coordinating audits, and improving financial processes within the organization.

Inventory & Internal Control Associate - Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise a team responsible for inventory accounting, reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee pricing administration, updates, and invoicing corrections.
• Provide leadership for internal control testing and compliance activities.
• Manage inventory return programs and support operational processes.
• Lead monthly inventory reporting and analysis.
• Coordinate internal control and audit activities.
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Serve as a business owner for inventory applications and support system enhancements.
• Maintain operational documentation and procedures.

Inventory & Internal Control Associate - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or internal controls.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Inventory & Internal Control Associate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in supply chain or inventory management.
• Experience working with SAP or ERP systems.
• Exposure to audit coordination and compliance testing.

Inventory & Internal Control Associate – Assignment Length:
This is a 14-month contract position.

Inventory & Internal Control Associate - Start Date:
ASAP.

Inventory & Internal Control Associate - Assignment Location:
Paris, Ontario, Canada with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote work arrangement.
