On behalf of our Retail client, Procom is searching for an IT Asset Management / Configuration Management Specialist - ServiceNow for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

IT Asset Management / Configuration Management Specialist - ServiceNow - Job Description:
The role involves supporting and enhancing enterprise IT governance, asset lifecycle management, and configuration management capabilities. The successful candidate will optimize ITAM and CMDB processes within the ServiceNow ecosystem, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and data integrity.

IT Asset Management / Configuration Management Specialist - ServiceNow - Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management (CMDB) processes.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operational procedures.
• Drive process optimization initiatives to improve data quality, operational efficiency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with various teams to align CMDB and ITAM processes with enterprise objectives.
• Manage and enhance ServiceNow capabilities related to ITAM, HAM, SAM, ITSM, Service Mapping, and CMDB.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting metrics.
• Ensure CMDB data integrity through governance controls and audits.
• Support compliance initiatives related to software licensing and IT governance standards.
• Provide recommendations for improving operational maturity and service management processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation and process enhancement.

IT Asset Management / Configuration Management Specialist - ServiceNow - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or IT Service Management environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow ITAM, HAM, SAM, ITSM, CMDB, and Service Mapping modules.
• Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and enterprise IT governance practices.
• Experience developing and implementing operational processes and governance models.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience driving process improvement initiatives in large enterprise environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

IT Asset Management / Configuration Management Specialist - ServiceNow – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• ServiceNow certifications (ITAM, SAM, CIS, or CSA).
• ITIL certification.
• Experience within large retail or enterprise organizations.
• Knowledge of audit, compliance, and software licensing practices.

IT Asset Management / Configuration Management Specialist - ServiceNow – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.
