IT Cybersecurity Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Cybersecurity Analyst for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT Cybersecurity Analyst - Job Description:
The IT Cybersecurity Analyst will be part of the Cyberoperations Monitoring & Response team, safeguarding the organization by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing security controls. The role involves responding to security incidents to minimize impact and prevent recurrence. This position requires proactive investigation of potential cybersecurity incidents and monitoring activities detected by security tools.

IT Cybersecurity Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Investigate assigned offenses on the SIEM
• Monitor and respond to emails sent to the CSS mailbox
• Submit tuning requests to the AUDC team based on investigation outcomes
• Review rules and provide feedback
• Escalate investigations based on the Incident Score following established processes and procedures

IT Cybersecurity Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity and associated roles
• Experience with various cybersecurity tools available in the market
• Knowledge of network principles, cybersecurity concepts, investigation procedures, and adversary techniques

IT Cybersecurity Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Previous experience in financial institutions (FI)

IT Cybersecurity Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension, depending on funding approval and business case.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days in office.
