IT Hardware Technician
On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking multiple IT Hardware Technician for a temp position in Calgary.

IT Hardware Technician - Job Details

• Install/move Devices such as Point of Sale Devices (POS) and Scanners
• Run through pro-active check-list measures prior to office opening.
• Verify Network connectivity / Wi-fi networks.
• Ensure devices are up and running prior to business hours.
• Print and test ticketing system.
• Provide basic troubleshooting with Hardware devices, internet connectivity and assist users where required.

IT Hardware Technician – Responsibilities

• Turn on each computer and launch the Back Office application
• Verify connection to internet and Back Office login/logout.
• Print a test ticket from each boca printer.
• Passwords/Password Resets
• Permission Updates
• Creating Operators in Back Office
• Assist with Reprints/Refunds (if allowed)
• Finding accounts/orders in Back Office
• Assist with customer inquiries at the window.

IT Hardware Technician - Mandatory Skills

• 1+ years of experience in working with non-technical users.
• 1+ years of experience in a customer-support capacity
• 1+ years in hardware troubleshooting experience
• 1+ years of experience troubleshooting with Network/Wi-Fi connectivity
• Previous experience doing password resets, permission updates, pro-actively checking devices
• Previous experience with IOS (Apple iphone, etc)
