IT Infrastructure Generalist:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for an IT Infrastructure Generalist for a 3-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

IT Infrastructure Generalist - Job Description:
The IT Infrastructure Generalist will support core infrastructure and cloud services, focusing on server management, virtualization, and identity platforms. This role involves hands-on technical execution and coordination of delivery activities to ensure seamless operations and improvements.

IT Infrastructure Generalist - Responsibilities:
• Administer and support server & storage environments
• Maintain VMware / vSphere infrastructure, including provisioning and troubleshooting
• Perform scripting and automation using PowerShell and support Infrastructure as Code practices
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online
• Manage endpoint devices using Intune for policies, compliance, and apps
• Support Azure infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Administer Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID)
• Document procedures and contribute to operational improvements
• Coordinate technical delivery activities when required
• Utilize Service Now ticketing system

IT Infrastructure Generalist - Mandatory Skills:
• Server & storage administration
• VMware / vSphere virtualization
• Scripting & automation (PowerShell); exposure to IaC
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint)
• Endpoint Management – Intune
• Azure infrastructure & Azure Virtual Desktop
• Identity: AD / Azure AD

IT Infrastructure Generalist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Team player with collaboration and initiative
• Delivery coordination or small project management experience
• Azure networking fundamentals
• Backup/DR, monitoring tools
• Security tooling (Defender, conditional access, etc.)

IT Infrastructure Generalist – Assignment Length:
This is a 3-month contract position.

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Hybrid work model with 3 days in office and remote work on Monday and Friday.
