IT PM - Application Security (AppSec) Implementation:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT PM - Application Security (AppSec) Implementation for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT PM - Application Security (AppSec) Implementation - Job Description:
This role supports the rollout of an Application Security (AppSec) capability to enhance security across the software development lifecycle. The project involves integrating, configuring, and continuously improving AppSec capabilities within developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure-by-design and secure-by-default delivery.

IT PM - Application Security (AppSec) Implementation - Responsibilities:
• Translate high-level capability goals into executable technical work, such as backlog items and implementation plans.
• Support tool onboarding and troubleshoot integrations.
• Tune policies and rules to improve signal quality.
• Work closely with delivery teams to implement AppSec platforms.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineer and AppSec partners.

IT PM - Application Security (AppSec) Implementation - Mandatory Skills:
• 8-9 years of experience in an IT-related field with at least 3 years in DevSecOps engineering teams.
• 3+ years of domain expertise in Application Security (AppSec).
• 3+ years of systems architecture and engineering experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency with software build tools and package managers.
• 3+ years of experience authoring and maintaining technical documentation.

IT PM - Application Security (AppSec) Implementation – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience within FI/ banking.
• 3+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Robust cloud infrastructure and system administration experience.
• 3+ years of software development and scripting experience.

IT PM - Application Security (AppSec) Implementation – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

IT PM - Application Security (AppSec) Implementation - Start Date:
ASAP.

IT PM - Application Security (AppSec) Implementation - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with 2-3 days in the office per week.
