IT Project Manager, Banking - Audit & Remediation Initiatives:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Project Manager, Banking - Audit & Remediation Initiatives for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT Project Manager, Banking - Audit & Remediation Initiatives - Job Description:
This role involves leading and managing multiple concurrent infrastructure and audit-related initiatives from planning through execution and closure. The IT Project Manager will support the GTEP Infrastructure Operations team, focusing on managing several ongoing internal audit engagements and ensuring timely delivery of audit commitments.

IT Project Manager, Banking - Audit & Remediation Initiatives - Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple concurrent infrastructure and audit-related initiatives from planning through execution and closure.
• Coordinate activities between audit teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure audit deliverables are completed on time.
• Review, track, and manage audit findings, remediation plans, action items, and associated documentation.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, roadmaps, timelines, and scope documentation.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and weekly status reports to communicate progress, risks, and outstanding items.
• Partner with senior leadership to obtain approvals, risk acceptances, exemptions, and key decisions required for audit closure.
• Work closely with both local and international stakeholders, including teams across Latin America (LatAm).
• Manage the delivery and closeout of audit packages, ensuring all supporting evidence and documentation are complete.
• Support infrastructure audit initiatives related to areas such as backup, storage, hardware inventory, and operational controls.

IT Project Manager, Banking - Audit & Remediation Initiatives - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Proven experience leading multiple audit-related projects and managing audit remediation activities
• Experience delivering and coordinating infrastructure-related initiatives
• Previous experience within the banking industry, preferably with Scotiabank (BNS)

IT Project Manager, Banking - Audit & Remediation Initiatives – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Exposure to OSFI regulations, compliance frameworks, or regulatory remediation initiatives

IT Project Manager, Banking - Audit & Remediation Initiatives – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.

ASAP
