IT Project Manager, Capital Markets/Treasury – Murex:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Project Manager, Capital Markets/Treasury – Murex for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 to 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT Project Manager, Capital Markets/Treasury – Murex - Job Description:
The project involves migrating from Ion to Murex for FX and money market operations, with a program budget of $10 million. The successful candidate will lead and manage the entire program from start to finish, ensuring the team transitions off the Ion system by December 28, 2026.

IT Project Manager, Capital Markets/Treasury – Murex - Responsibilities:
• Vendor management: management of the deliverables and the outcomes of the vendor.
• Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with Tech’s strategic goals and business objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, and external partners.
• Risk Management: Implement robust project management methodologies and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Effective Communication: Consistently interact professionally with clients both in business and technology to manage project expectations.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure the quality of project deliverables, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Priorities: Effectively manage changing priorities, project risks and issues along with impact and mitigation plans.

IT Project Manager, Capital Markets/Treasury – Murex - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years project management experience
• Hands-on experience with Murex, with experience in either Treasury or Capital Markets
• 8+ years of experience with demonstrated executive presence and proven delivery leadership
• Experience managing projects with budgets of $10 million or more

IT Project Manager, Capital Markets/Treasury – Murex – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in other Top 5 banks / FIs
• ION experience

This is a 12-month contract position.
