IT Project Manager - Senior:
Procom is searching for an IT Project Manager - Senior for a contingent role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office. 

IT Project Manager - Senior - Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Information Technology, Emerging Technologies team. The role involves working at the Wave Technology Centre, focusing on integrating emerging technologies with public service strategies. The aim is to modernize and enhance services through strategic foresight, experimentation, and evaluation of new technologies. 

IT Project Manager - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Support emerging technology experimentation requests through intake and lifecycle management
• Conduct intake triage and gather requirements
• Coordinate handoff and support to other Project Managers
• Manage client communications and provide status updates
• Prioritize intake assessments and track documented requirements
• Maintain schedules, risk, and issue logs
• Successfully coordinate pilots aligned with the Innovation Through Procurement Challenge framework

IT Project Manager - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Eight years' IT project management experience with PMI's PMBOK® Guide practices
• Experience on medium to large technology projects
• Experience leading and supporting multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Strong leadership, planning, and change management skills
• Well-developed communication skills including negotiation and mediation
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize resources

IT Project Manager - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Ability to influence others without direct supervisory control
• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations
• Formal training and/or certification in project management (e.g., PMI Project Management Professional)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with project resource planning

IT Project Manager - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a contingent position for approx 6 months

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office.
