IT Project Manager - Telecom
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Project Manager - Telecom for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT Project Manager - Telecom - Job Description:
The IT Project Manager - Telecom will lead a large-scale migration program, focusing on the planning and execution of branch network migrations. The role involves managing complex technology initiatives that impact business operations and requires coordination across multiple stakeholders and vendors.

IT Project Manager - Telecom - Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end planning and execution of branch network migrations
• Act as the primary liaison for the Data Workstream 
• Manage and refine migration schedules within a rolling 3-month planning horizon
• Ensure migration communications are accurate and timely
• Monitor migration readiness, deployment risks, and site dependencies
• Facilitate migration and cutover calls during evening deployment windows
• Maintain stakeholder alignment across technology, business, operations, and vendor teams

IT Project Manager - Telecom - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years as an IT Project Manager leading complex technology projects
• Experience managing infrastructure, network, or technology migration programs
• Strong experience managing external vendors and delivery partners
• Experience working with telecommunications providers
• Experience within managed service delivery environments
• Ability to manage vendor commitments and performance metrics
• Network technology project experience involving MPLS and/or SD-WAN technologies

IT Project Manager - Telecom – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Testing management or test coordination experience
• Financial services or banking industry experience
• Experience supporting branch transformation or migration programs
• Experience with geographically distributed deployments
• PMI/PMP certifications

IT Project Manager - Telecom – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3-4 days in the office.
