IT Project Manager:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Project Manager for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT Project Manager - Job Description:
The IT Project Manager will manage a critical part of a large enterprise initiative, collaborating with various teams to contribute to the program's success. This role involves ensuring operational excellence and enhancing efficiencies within the Enterprise Technology PMO.

IT Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs.
• Create and manage a resource plan ensuring stakeholder engagement.
• Assess and improve the efficiency of team practices and procedures.
• Coach and mentor teams toward common goals, negotiating deliverables and milestones.
• Identify and resolve project schedule issues proactively.
• Monitor milestones to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Manage project financials in accordance with LOB policies and procedures.

IT Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Project Management experience - 5+ years
• PMP certification (required if not previously a PM at CIBC)
• MS Project and MS Office experience - 5+ years
• Hands-on experience with project financials - 3+ years
• Previous experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

IT Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous banking experience working as a project manager
• Familiarity with EDF (Enterprise Delivery Framework)
• Experience managing large projects ($5M+)

IT Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract with the possibility for extension or conversion to full-time employment.

IT Project Manager - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office presence every Wednesday and one Friday per month.
