IT Sourcing Specialist:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for an IT Sourcing Specialist for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton or Calgary office.

IT Sourcing Specialist - Job Description:
The IT Sourcing Specialist will support active and upcoming IT sourcing requirements, independently managing sourcing initiatives from intake through contract execution. The candidate will quickly integrate into the team, providing additional capacity to the Supply Chain team with minimal ramp-up time.

IT Sourcing Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Develop sourcing strategies
• Prepare and execute RFx events
• Conduct commercial evaluations
• Support negotiations
• Coordinate stakeholder and supplier engagement
• Support contract development and execution

IT Sourcing Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Approximately 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience with meaningful IT category experience
• Strong experience independently managing competitive sourcing events from initiation through award
• Demonstrated commercial negotiation and supplier management capabilities
• Experience working with IT, Cybersecurity, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong understanding of technology contracting and commercial models, including SaaS/subscription, licensing, professional services, and related pricing structures
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written, analytical, and stakeholder-management capabilities

IT Sourcing Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Ability to onboard quickly and begin contributing with minimal ramp-up
• Experience in telecommunications procurement
• Familiarity with hardware procurement
• Experience in professional services procurement
• Knowledge of accessible procurement practices
