Java Developer - Mid-Level:
On behalf of our Financial client, Procom is searching for a Java Developer - Mid-Level for a 12-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Ann Arbor, MI 48104 office. Please note sponsorship is unavailable. 

Java Developer - Mid-Level - Job Description:
The Java Developer - Mid-Level will be involved in developing and enhancing a complex software platform. The role focuses on both client and server-side Java development, contributing to the system's scalability and performance. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Java Developer - Mid-Level - Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on both client and server-side components
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement distributed systems
• Engage in real-time processing and relational database management
• Contribute to the development of APIs and frameworks
• Participate in agile, test-driven development processes

Java Developer - Mid-Level - Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in Java, J2EE (both client and server side)
• Strong understanding of OOA/OOD, distributed systems, and real-time processing
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns (GoF)
• Experience with rich UI frameworks like Angular JS, jQuery, HTML 5, Swing, Java FX
• Experience with application development frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, JSF

Java Developer - Mid-Level – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with concurrency & multi-threading
• Experience with scaling, Java Garbage Collection, and performance tuning
• Experience with build, deploy, and test automation tools like Ant, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins
• Working knowledge of finance and/or trading domain
