Senior Java Developer
On behalf of our Financial client, Procom is searching for a Java Developer - Senior for a 12-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Austin, TX office. *This role is not available on C2C/1099*

Job Description:
This role involves working on the enhancement and maintenance of existing platforms, as well as contributing to new development projects. The candidate will engage in full stack development, focusing on both front-end and back-end processes to deliver robust solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain full stack Java applications
• Implement front-end solutions using Angular
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members
• Work with databases, including MongoDB and SQL
• Utilize test frameworks such as Java Cucumber
• Collaborate using Github for version control
• Analyze and interpret data using Splunk and BigQuery
• Engage in AI tool application for design, development, and PR reviews

Mandatory Skills:
• Full stack Java development expertise
• Proficiency in Angular
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB and SQL
• Experience with Java Cucumber test frameworks
• Proficiency in Github
• Ability to work in a complex multi-application environment
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for design and development

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of .Net
• Experience in accessible design and development
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Experience in the financial services/ banking industry

Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
