Java Developer - Senior - Job Description:
Our client is in a significant technical transformation within Broker-Dealer Systems, focusing on the modernization of core technology infrastructure. As a Senior AI Developer, you will lead AI-focused workflows across the System Development Life Cycle, building intelligent systems that impact millions of people's retirement security.

Java Developer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Lead AI-focused workflows in the System Development Life Cycle
• Develop large-scale software using Java, Spring framework, and cloud technologies
• Implement and deploy AI/ML solutions in production environments
• Collaborate with fellow developers, architects, and adjacent teams
• Utilize GenAI coding assistants to enhance engineering workflows

Java Developer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java and Spring framework
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML implementation and production deployment
• Experience with containers and microservices in the cloud
• Familiarity with GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
• Understanding of broker-dealer capabilities and operationsxzx• Excellent communication skills

Java Developer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Masters degree in Information Technology or related field
• Experience in Financial Services industry
• Knowledge of messaging technologies like Rabbit MQ or Kafka
• Experience with Test Driven Development and QA Automation
• Familiarity with the Atlassian tool stack (JIRA and Confluence)

Java Developer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position. Expected duration 7 months plus contract
