Java Developer:
On behalf of our Information Technology client, Procom is searching for a Java Developer for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Java Developer - Job Description:
The Java Developer will be involved in the planning, designing, coding, and testing of software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. This role involves revising and refining systems as needed and developing and maintaining operational and system-level documentation.

Java Developer - Responsibilities:
• Revises and refines systems as required
• Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing, and ongoing support of business systems
• Develops and maintains operational and system-level documentation

Java Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications
• Strong communication skills are required as the position will interact with business owners
• 6+ years of prior software development experience required
• Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, or computer science or related field of study
