Java Front End:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Java Front End for a 7 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Java Front End - Job Description:
The project involves developing and enhancing web applications with a focus on front-end technologies. The role requires working independently to understand user requirements, designing and developing solutions, and utilizing AI tools for efficiency. The candidate will also mentor junior developers and ensure high-quality code delivery.

Java Front End - Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance front-end applications using React and JavaScript
• Integrate APIs and understand the Java framework for effective code integration
• Collaborate with users to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Utilize AI tools like Copilot and Devin for development efficiency
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and code reviews
• Ensure the quality and performance of applications through testing and optimization

Java Front End - Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in React and JavaScript
• Experience with API integration
• Understanding of Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Ability to work independently and take projects to completion
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Java Front End – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with Angular
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices

Java Front End – Assignment Length:
This is a 7 month contract position.

Java Front End - Assignment Location:
Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office.
