Jr Business Data Analyst - MIS/Reporting (Power BI/Python)
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Jr Business Data Analyst - MIS/Reporting (Power BI/Python) for a 3-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Jr Business Data Analyst - MIS/Reporting (Power BI/Python) - Job Description:
The project involves supporting the business planning process and developing a model for planning, alongside various analytics projects. The role requires leveraging large and disparate data sets to deliver insights that influence business decisions and streamline metric reporting needs.

Jr Business Data Analyst - MIS/Reporting (Power BI/Python) - Responsibilities:
• Lead the creation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of business results to senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop KPI packages and dashboards, including Executive Reporting.
• Work closely with Sr. manager and business partners to provide insights on business performance.
• Automate and develop MIS & Reporting using multiple databases and mainframe.
• Lead integration of new data feeds for timely information availability.
• Collaborate with data warehouse and IT teams to manage development of analytical infrastructure.
• Automate reports to increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Manage and prioritize multiple business initiatives and ad-hoc reporting needs.

Jr Business Data Analyst - MIS/Reporting (Power BI/Python) - Mandatory Skills:
• 3-4 years’ experience in Analytics or MIS/Reporting within financial or insurance industry.
• 3-4+ years’ experience in programming, application development, and/or data warehousing.
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency with building models and data infrastructures.
• Excel programming and Microsoft Access skills.

Jr Business Data Analyst - MIS/Reporting (Power BI/Python) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Bilingual English - Spanish desired.
• Experience in Python, SQL, SAS, Unix, Mainframe.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Previous business line and banking experience.
• Expertise with dashboards, KPI, and business metrics generation.

Jr Business Data Analyst - MIS/Reporting (Power BI/Python) – Assignment Length:
This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension depending on performance and funding.
