On behalf of our Media client, Procom is searching for a Junior Producer, Podcast & Video Production for a contractor role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Austin, Texas office.

Junior Producer, Podcast & Video Production - Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Junior Producer to support podcast and video production on the C2 Audio & Video Team. This role involves managing end-to-end project tasks for both mediums, ensuring content is developed, approved, and published across various channels.

Junior Producer, Podcast & Video Production - Responsibilities:
• Help produce and deliver multiple direct-to-production video projects, social videos, and podcast episodes
• Manage workflow using the agency's project management system, Workfront
• Provide ongoing visibility of project health by maintaining up-to-date project information in Workfront
• Move projects forward by removing blockers, mitigating risks, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration
• Maintain production and publication planning documents
• Participate in recording sessions/shoots, taking notes, providing feedback, and assisting with technology and logistics
• Transcribe audio or procure transcripts from vendors
• Upload final approved copy, imagery, audio, and video to appropriate distribution channels
• Assist with podcast topic and story research
• Create call sheets for live-action video shoots
• Act as production coordinator on film set

Junior Producer, Podcast & Video Production - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 1-2 years of audio/video production experience
• Experience working within an established agency, production house, consultancy, or marketing firm
• Strong solutions-oriented approach and understanding of agency processes
• Familiarity with podcasts and the podcast ecosystem
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships across disciplines
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Junior Producer, Podcast & Video Production – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Fluency with enterprise-level project management tools such as Workfront, JIRA, or Slack
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industry
• Understanding of animation and motion design
• Expertise in audio production techniques, including fluency with Riverside, Adobe Audition, and related hardware
• Deep knowledge of the podcast industry, including distribution, analytics, and emerging tre
