Laboratory Assistant 1:
On behalf of our Life Sciences client, Procom is searching for a Laboratory Assistant 1 for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Greensboro, North Carolina office.

Job Description:
The Laboratory Assistant 1 will perform research activities and other necessary tasks in a laboratory environment. This role involves recording observations and measurements, reporting results, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of cleanrooms and equipment. The position supports the receipt and inspection of raw materials and assists in ordering and stocking materials and equipment.

Responsibilities:
• Perform research activities and tasks in a laboratory setting
• Record observations and measurements, and report results
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain cleanrooms and equipment
• Assist with the receipt and inspection of raw materials
• Order and stock materials and equipment
• Operate and troubleshoot formulating equipment
• Coordinate third-party cleaning vendors and manage off-site inventory

Mandatory Skills:
• Sample Preparation
• Stock Standard Solution Preparation
• Chromatography-LC, GC
• Operation and maintenance of analytical balances
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Teamwork and collaboration

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in crop protection or seed production
• Knowledge of lean methodologies
• Experience with logistics and order management
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others
• Creativity and latitude in problem-solving
