On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Lead Business Analyst - Governance, Change Management, Data for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Lead Business Analyst - Governance, Change Management, Data - Job Description:
In this role, you will lead a small collaborative group of analysts working within a larger project team to strengthen our data management initiative across Enterprise Compliance. You will partner with stakeholders to identify and resolve data retention and disposition gaps, ensuring alignment with Enterprise data management standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Lead Business Analyst - Governance, Change Management, Data - Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance, leadership, and management to a small group of analysts
• Provide reporting and insights around the group's progress and efforts
• Lead and ensure project and data risks and issues are identified, escalated, and documented
• Support management and capacity assessments of work in progress
• Potentially lead an independent work effort
• Provide data management and governance support
• Support Data Retention and Disposition (DRD) remediation activities
• Ensure data compliance with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines
• Perform data analysis and assist in documenting Data Retention and Disposition requirements

Lead Business Analyst - Governance, Change Management, Data - Mandatory Skills:
• Governance
• Project experience (timelines standpoint, risk identification)
• Data analytics and Excel reporting
• Manage multiple stakeholders
• Work independently
• Strong communication skills

Lead Business Analyst - Governance, Change Management, Data – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Leading a team/projects
• FI/Banking experience
• Data management (controls, compliance, understanding of data regulatory rules)
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Shared Drive/SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA

Lead Business Analyst - Governance, Change Management, Data – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion.
