Lead Development Analyst - Intermediate
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Lead Development Analyst for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Lead Development Analyst - Intermediate - Job Description:
The Global Spread Products Technology Team is seeking a Lead Development Analyst to develop complex enterprise software solutions. The role involves extensive Java development, microservices, and cloud computing, particularly with AWS. The candidate will play a crucial role in implementing strategic Risk Systems for Global Spread Products.

Lead Development Analyst - Intermediate - Responsibilities:
• Strong involvement in the design of server components and development in Java
• Planning software releases
• Providing 2nd level support for applications
• Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to interpret business requirements and create system designs
• Developing test cases to thoroughly test the codebase
• Applying software engineering best practices to solve complex business problems
• Taking initiative and multitasking across multiple concurrent projects

Lead Development Analyst - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Goal, client, and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
• Ability to work with globally distributed teams
• Solid 10+ years of experience with Java development
• Extensive experience with distributed, service-oriented, and microservice-style architectures

Lead Development Analyst - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Prior investment banking risk system experience
• Experience in message brokers
• Exposure to Clojure

Lead Development Analyst - Intermediate – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.
