Lead Power BI Developer:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Lead Power BI Developer for a 9-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Lead Power BI Developer - Job Description:
The project involves developing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Microsoft Power BI to support various business needs while adhering to industry standards and the existing technology framework. The successful candidate will lead analysis, design, and development activities, collaborating with business and technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Lead Power BI Developer - Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage BI solutions using Power BI.
• Ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems and platforms.
• Design secure, compliant, and privacy-focused solutions.
• Collaborate with business units and development teams to align project goals.
• Provide technical support and participate in development, testing, and release activities.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Lead Power BI Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer.
• Expertise in Power BI (Desktop, Service, Server).
• Advanced skills in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and SQL.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of reporting, visualization, and performance optimization.
• Experience with security and governance, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Certifications: PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate.

Lead Power BI Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Prior Ontario Public Service (OPS) experience.
• Previous public sector experience.
• Knowledge of Azure Analytics Services and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Lead Power BI Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 9-month contract position running from July to March 31, 2027.

Lead Power BI Developer - Start Date:
ASAP.

Lead Power BI Developer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with onsite work required 5 days a week.
