On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Lead Web Developer - Digital Banking x2 for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Lead Web Developer - Digital Banking x2 - Job Description:
The role involves working on the maintenance and enhancement of enterprise web applications within the bank's Digital Web Development environment. The focus is on developing responsive web experiences and integrating with native applications to support the bank's digital channels.

Lead Web Developer - Digital Banking x2 - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications.
• Lead and contribute to front-end development initiatives using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and application architecture decisions.
• Build responsive and accessible user experiences aligned with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
• Support release management and deployment activities.
• Mentor developers and promote development best practices.
• Drive work independently with minimal onboarding or supervision.

Lead Web Developer - Digital Banking x2 - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of front-end web development experience.
• Strong JavaScript development experience.
• Strong HTML5 and CSS/SCSS experience.
• Experience with Vue.js OR comparable modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience working with state management libraries such as Pinia, Vuex, Redux, or similar.
• Experience with Git/GitHub source control and modern development workflows.
• Experience building responsive web applications.

Lead Web Developer - Digital Banking x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Pinia experience.
• Mobile, hybrid mobile, or native application development experience.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON integrations.
• Unit testing and UI automation testing experience.
• Banking or financial services experience.

Lead Web Developer - Digital Banking x2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.
