Job Description
Learning Designer
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking TWO(2) Learning Designers.
Learning Designer Role Details:
Accountabilities:
- Organizational Learning has ~200 eLearning courses used for new hire training across the organization that were created in a format that will not publish in our current People Portal (Success Factors) Learning Management System (LMS).
- Using the original PowerPoint course storyboards, the Learning Designers will build these courses in Articulate Storyline, publish to Review 360, work with Org Learning team to validate and sign off courses with the various Subject Matter Experts, and upload the design files to SharePoint online to be ready for Org learning to publish to the People Portal (Success Factors) LMS.
Deliverables:
- Using the original PowerPoint course storyboards, the Learning Designer will build ~200 eLearning courses in Articulate Storyline to be ready to publish to the current LMS.
Learning Designer Mandatory Skills:
Software & Applications
- Articulate Storyline at a high level of proficiency - this includes creation
- of system demos, text to speech, and ability to design to set brand standards.
- Must also have proficiency with Articulate Rise and Review 360
- MS365
Knowledge/Technical Skills
- of adult learning strategies and methodologies
- determining appropriate learning delivery for the training need (fit for need)
- design and develop instructional materials, job aids, work tools, and other resources as required for learning initiatives (including eLearning, instructor-led training, and webinars).
- of graphic and layout design
- of audio and visual recording
- of course development using Articulate Storyline
- Insurance industry experience an asset
Analytical/Problem Solving Skills
- to conduct general research and identify applicable learning solutions
- to identify and mitigate risks, including inaccuracies, information gaps and process concerns
- to evaluate requirements, weigh priorities and make recommendations
Communication/Interpersonal Skills
- to write and design effective learning materials
- Lead and facilitate review sessions of learning assets
Organization Skills
- to track versions, update and validate course during development
