Level 1 Migration Consultant - Data:
On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Level 1 Migration Consultant - Data for a 9 month contract role. This position is a remote position but requires working in the EST time zone.

Level 1 Migration Consultant - Data - Job Description:
This role involves supporting a large-scale telecom data transformation program, consolidating multiple legacy BSS systems into a unified platform. The project entails migrating from a SQL Server-based legacy environment to a modern Databricks-driven ecosystem.

Level 1 Migration Consultant - Data - Responsibilities:
• Assist with building, testing, and deploying ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Assist with data validation and automation of processes.
• Write SQL queries and Python scripts to support data processing tasks.
• Monitor pipeline runs, troubleshoot errors, and document fixes.
• Support data quality and observability checks.
• Participate in cataloging and metadata management activities.
• Learn and apply security, governance, and compliance controls.

Level 1 Migration Consultant - Data - Mandatory Skills:
• 2 years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Solid foundation in SQL and exposure to Python.
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, or cloud services.
• Experience with billing, CRM, or ERP system.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify patterns or anomalies in data.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent training/experience.

Level 1 Migration Consultant - Data – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Exposure to Databricks or Snowflake.
• GraphQL API experience.
• Experience working with larger companies.
• Execution-oriented and detail-focused mindset.

Level 1 Migration Consultant - Data – Assignment Length:
This is a 9 month contract.

Level 1 Migration Consultant - Data - Start Date:
ASAP.

Level 1 Migration Consultant - Data - Assignment Location:
Remote, but must work EST time zone.
