Loan Processing Specialist:
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Loan Processing Specialist for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Chicago office.

Loan Processing Specialist - Job Description:
The Loan Processing Specialist will focus on business-as-usual loan operations, specifically processing subsequent loan advances and payments. The role involves working through a servicing queue to handle requests, fund advance requests, and debit accounts for payments, all within a collaborative team environment.

Loan Processing Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Post and process complex items and investigate requests to resolve processing errors
• Prioritize workload within defined parameters and procedures
• Post customer loan payments, loan advances, and process wires and transfers
• Verify documents and provide prompt service to internal and external clients
• Solve basic to moderately complex administrative issues
• Ensure productivity standards are achieved and Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded
• Disburse funds and service loans after closing
• Process payments, advances, perform system maintenance, and process payoffs
• Review reports and investigate unapplied/rejected funds
• Prepare cashier's checks for loan advances
• Monitor incoming wire mailboxes and resolve open reconciliation items

Loan Processing Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• 2+ years of loan servicing experience
• Experience in banking and banking regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent

Loan Processing Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Working knowledge of IBS (Metavante), ACBS loan system, PCFS, or comparable loan applications
• Experience processing wire transfers

Loan Processing Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 4-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.
