Mainframe Developer – Cobol, JCL, DB2:
On behalf of our Risk Technology client, Procom is searching for a Mainframe Developer – Cobol, JCL, DB2 for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Mainframe Developer – Cobol, JCL, DB2 - Job Description:
This role supports the development of a new initiative focused on customer collections and credit risk assessment. The Mainframe Developer will work on ongoing projects involving development and maintenance activities related to credit increase/decrease processes.

Mainframe Developer – Cobol, JCL, DB2 - Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL on mainframe systems
• Perform unit testing of COBOL/DB2 modules
• Support QA Testing (QAT) execution and defect resolution
• Collaborate with team members to deliver enhancements and improvements

Mainframe Developer – Cobol, JCL, DB2 - Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years of development experience in Cobol, JCL, DB2
• Hands-on experience with version control tools like Endevor or similar
• Solid experience in mainframe environments

Mainframe Developer – Cobol, JCL, DB2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with scheduling tools such as CA7
• Financial industry experience
• Experience with Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket

Mainframe Developer – Cobol, JCL, DB2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days in the office per week.
