Manager, Financial Reporting
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Manager, Financial Reporting for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Manager, Financial Reporting - Job Description:
The Manager, Financial Reporting will be a key contributor in the Enterprise Controllers’ Group, supporting the preparation of consolidated bank reporting, including analyses and insights for senior management across Finance. The role involves implementing process changes to drive efficiency, meet changing external requirements, and maintain an exceptional control environment.

Manager, Financial Reporting - Responsibilities:
• Support the preparation of financial statements and external financial information.
• Assist with gathering and consolidating financial information and conducting complex data analysis.
• Maintain process documentation, accounting guidance, and operational guidance for financial disclosures.
• Lead in identifying, proposing, implementing, and testing reporting solutions for new financial initiatives.
• Research accounting guidance on technical queries raised by stakeholders.
• Maintain internal control and governance framework to ensure a strong internal control environment.
• Foster collaboration and high performance with key stakeholders.

Manager, Financial Reporting - Mandatory Skills:
• CPA designation or equivalent with 3+ years of experience.
• Understanding of key disclosure requirements and SOX compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage timelines and project progress.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills for analyzing large data sets.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure requests.

Manager, Financial Reporting – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with bank businesses and transactions.
• Proactive and persistent in issue resolution.

Manager, Financial Reporting – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with 3 days in the office.
