Market Data Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Market Data Business Analyst for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Market Data Business Analyst - Job Description:
The Market Data Business Analyst will oversee the control of market data inventory, including managing service requests, vendor and exchange reporting, and invoice processing. The role aims to ensure accuracy in cost allocation, conduct vendor service audits, and provide exceptional customer service.

Market Data Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Document specific reporting procedures for each vendor or exchange
• Track contract renewals and price changes, and place vendor orders as required
• Generate, review, and submit monthly exchange and vendor usage reports ensuring accuracy
• Reconcile, verify, and coordinate the settlement of market data invoices against negotiated contracted pricing
• Maintain cost allocations across multiple lines of business based on actual usage
• Manage user notification/approval for service contract renewals and price changes
• Identify savings opportunities through contract reviews and firm-wide consolidation efforts

Market Data Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• In-depth understanding of MDM components and key performance indicators
• Experience utilizing market data vendor permissioning tools
• Strong financial, analytical, and conceptual skills
• Ability to work within complex environments across organizational levels
• Excellent communication skills for articulating decisions and influencing priorities

Market Data Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with global market data inventory systems
• Familiarity with exchange and regulatory body reporting
• Background in managing relationships with internal and vendor finance teams
• Experience in identifying cost reduction opportunities
• Ability to develop detailed financial market data cost reports

Market Data Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.
