Job Description
Role Overview:
The Marketing Co-ordinator will play a vital role in executing marketing strategies for BMO's retail credit card portfolio. This position focuses on enhancing the customer experience while driving business objectives through effective lifecycle campaigns and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute marketing strategies to enhance customer experience and achieve business goals for retail credit card portfolio.
- Assist marketing managers with the development and execution of lifecycle campaigns.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to architect customer journeys and create impactful communications.
- Ensure marketing initiatives adhere to brand standards and product positioning.
- Manage timelines and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver marketing solutions.
- Become a subject matter expert on Canadian retail credit cards.
- Drive initiatives aimed at growing the share of wallet and retaining credit card customers.
Must-Have Skills:
- Completed undergraduate degree in marketing, business, commerce, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience in the financial industry is an asset.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in marketing within the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping and lifecycle marketing principles.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has proven problem-solving skills, able to identify root issues and find creative solutions.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Exhibits a passion for retail banking and a keen interest in evolving marketing practices.
